I use to mainline opiates and then blow..

every so often I will pop a hydro or three...or toot a little line...with absolutely no problem of wanting to continue..

It's not uncommon for people to lie to themselves and others about their control, he might even believe it, but I'm more than a little skeptical. Most "weekend warrior" types that can put it down the next day don't end up homeless due to alcoholism.
