the police are probably smart enough now to catch us...are they not..
I mean...the way I just worded that would make them investigate like crazy...but I do not have anyone else to ask but you guys..

I doubt anyone cares about tinychan. This place is so off anyone's radar it's not even funny. Imagine the thousands of forums that exist that no one will ever know about. That's tc but in imageboard form.

so I should fake my own death for insurance money?
+Anonymous C — 9.2 years ago, 7 minutes later, 24 minutes after the original post[T] [B] #516,933
IF you wanted to fake your death, you could, but it's not going to be overnight.
Without a body, you're just a missing person, and it'll take a long time for you be considered dead.
Now if you wanted to assume a new identity, you could, but it would take money, money you don't have.
No, in the end, it's better to face your problems, instead of running away from them.
·Anonymous B — 9.2 years ago, 1 minute later, 25 minutes after the original post[T] [B] #516,935
I wouldn't brag about it here no. Some people (the tru.uh asshole) are incredibly spiteful and may betray you just to "get back" at you to make up for their own insecurities.

Not as simple as you'd think.
Maybe try faking an injury for a payout, just takes a shady doctor.

@516,935 (B)
They'd have to be able to connect him to his posts though, which seems pretty unlikely.
+Anonymous D — 9.2 years ago, 1 minute later, 29 minutes after the original post[T] [B] #516,938
what I am thinking is...as long as the 'accident' looked and seemed entirely one hundred percent legit...everything would be cool...I mean how much time is the law or insurance company going to spend looking into the death of a noble yet unknown southern gentleman who was broke and everyone pretty much ignored as he pleaded for help in the end...and yet they forgot he existed because they did not like that he drank alcohol..

The insurance company may look into it heavily depending on the payout.
Law enforcement can go either way, but it wouldn't be the first time such a fraud was attempted, and that could land you in much hotter water than your in now
There will definitely be attempts to identify the body, putting your ID on a corpse won't cut it in the US.
And without a body you won't be presumed dead for a long time, even if you leave a suicide note.

P.S. If you took out some insurance today, you'd have to wait a while before most policies would payout for suicide, as another anon mentioned in a different thread.

what about selling a kidney.. I

It's not like you can go to kidney depot and get it removed in the afternoon as an outpatient op. You'd have to find someone to do it and sell it. Even then you could still get screwed and lose a kidney without getting paid.

A) no ones going to take your shriveled kidney
B) doesn't getting a JOB seem a little easier than faking your death??? Logic, Bert, logic.

You could sell both of your kidneys.

Dream killer.
You're correct though. Doing things the right way is way simpler than trying to cheat the system. Although it'd be hilarious if he did sell a kidney.
I've been impressed before with the lengths some people are willing to go to avoid honest work.

And his dead father too, let's not forget that. The old bastard would turn over in his grave if he knew.
