More interesting is the side bar as in this image of the Qualcomm Snapdragon VR headset. One is led to believe such will be on the market from Qualcomm. They are being build in quantity but only as a marketing tool for the CPU to just show performance and other uses for ARM Snapdragon's. Intel was the first company to use a outside company to buy as many as they could get hands on. Latest lab models track eye movements so one can go a bit crazy and the 120 degree view in the last one I had on my head was a full 180 degrees.
Lets see if they follow my suggestion and incorporate a field of view under the neck and through the neck. 20 year old Audio can do this and its damn creepy to pass a microphone under ones chin and all the way to the back of ur neck. Only works with headphones currently.
