I finally moved it into a 3D printer case my brother bought me for Christmas. I have all of the NES games on it that came with the official mini-NES that Nintendo released. I have it hooked up next to my Nintendo Switch. It's like I have a modern Nintendo console and a virtual console.

You can use it for a lot of things, some examples are gaming consoles for older game emulation, an entertainment center like Kodi, an Android machine, or anything else you can think of.
I use RetroPie for mine which allows me to play older games.

I have one, used it for retropi too. I play a lot of metal slug on it but I also have the standard mario games. I'm thinking of repurposing it but it's just such a nice little toy and easy as fuck to add more games and it cheap too so it's not as if I'd be saving too much money.PS1 games all seem a bit dated and not in a good way tbh but there's still some good stuff. I've been playing final fantasy since I've never played it before and it's meh tbh. Castlevania SOTN and ape escape are still as fun as ever. Tomb raider and resident evil 2 are viable as well. Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere has a great soundtrack and i think it's even harder than ace combat 4 but again visuals are dated. for racing, Gran Turismo really got its start here with gran turismo 2 as well. If you want more rpg's parasite eve I heard is good.

Never played it but knock yourself out it should work, very few games don't from what I've seen. Of those that I've tested that were unplayable was the syphon filter series for ps1 and army men: air combat for n64.

PS3 controllers. They work the best with most configurations, i do have to manually enable the joysticks in the emulator menu while in game but it's like 2 seconds of work.
