I understand that perspective matters and such but it just feels as though i have nothing to show for all this time you know?
No degree no girlfriend only a vague notion of what i want to do. At least i have my car paid off and dont owe money to anyone so at least im still relatively free.

I know what you mean. I'm in my 40s, and I don't feel like I'm where I should be. I feel I should be further ahead than I am.
I got my house and my cars paid off, kids grown and out on their own.
And yet, like you, I feel as though I have nothing to show for it.
