It's a weird bbq thing, but it's because it has pulled pork on the burger. At least I usually see pulled pork/chick + slaw on sammiches in this part of the South.

Yeah I had something similar at Noodles & Co a few months ago before they took sandwiches off the menu completely. I guess it must be a cultural thing.
