Topic: Tax Refunds
+Anonymous A — 9.4 years ago #46,733
I did a quick calculation and I'm set to receive from $3000-3500 as a tax refund which is quite a chunk of change.
Any recommendations on what to do with it?
How much will yall niggaz get this year?

What do you mean taxes? I don't pay any taxes.
State can get fuckall.

So you've never bought anything at the store or in amazon? Because I can guarantee you that you pay taxes in some way shape or form.
But I digress, I'm speaking solely about federal income tax. I cashed out several 401k's and had some extra income taxed at a high rate at the time and I should be getting most of that money back. That's what I'm talking about here.

+Anonymous C — 9.4 years ago, 25 minutes later, 40 minutes after the original post[T] [B] #507,766
I'll pay in a little. Throwing more cash monies into an IRA to avoid that again though.
Tbh I'd probably just put the money up though or at most bought a gat... because reptilians.

i don't pay income tax lol
i do get $70 checks sporadically for sales tax tho, and they always come when i could really use that money
altho last year i made $1500 and got a tax refund of $20 between federal and provincial. the provincial refund was $3. they sent me a check for $3.

·chili dog !!heHjtrQ7i — 9.4 years ago, 7 hours later, 15 hours after the original post[T] [B] #507,794
@previous (G)
because i think it's funny and kind of a waste of resources to send a check for anything under $5

What do you need work clothes for Bert?
It's not like you plan on getting a job, and holding on to it.
Use it for everclear. Thats all you're good for.

You only get in trouble if you owe money, if you choose not to take returns they just sit for 4 years until you take them or the state takes them back

Taxes aren't hard so long as you keep up with it throughout the year.
> how much did you make that is taxable
> how much did you contribute throughout the year
> how much can you deduct from what you owe
easy peasy.
