Recently sworn in President Donald Trump, has said many times in his campaign plans for new import taxes may be in the works. These taxes would apply to any good not produced by the United States.
The proposed tax would increase video games and console prices by five to ten percent. Say hello to games that are $66.00 and consoles that may possibly be $440.
This new rule would also apply to any imported goods across the board including anime, collectible figures and cell phones.
Apparently the Entertainment Software Association has prepared for the worst, as they are already preparing if Trump signs the blanket tariff.
