What is there to gain from the conflict between Israel and Palestine?
Do they even have oil compared to the other Middle Eastern nations?

Israel controls their politicians with bribes. The Israel lobby in the US is the most powerful lobby. Also all white people including those who fought against Germany in WWII somehow think they as white people are personally responsible for gassing 6 billion jews and turning them into lampshades and soap.

As if any one religion or group of people is more entitled to existence than any other...
All religions are equally wrong and therefore are equally irrelevant to the growth of mankind

It is absurd. Especially considering loss of life elsewhere during WWII. The creation of Israel was a mistake and it's time to pull them off of USA's teat. Fuck Evangelicals and other supporters of Israel. They're complicit in Israel's crimes as far as I'm concerned.

This isn't even a religious issue, it's a humanitarian issue.

Christianity has already won.
So has Israel.
There is nothing you can really do against it.

Over 70% of America is still religious, that is very unlikely

The portion that supports Israel isn't 70% though, and the humanitarian part, the crux of the issue, comes predominately from Israel's war crime and barbaric treatment of Palestinians and other middle easterners. Their respective religions play a very minor role here, we could say that zionism is the issue, but it's only part of the problem. The fact of the matter is they wouldn't play nice either way because the land Israel is on is stolen property, simple as that.
When eurofags, spanitards, frenchfags, scandifags, etc came into the scene and took over the land of indigenous peoples in various places, religion was not the main problem nor the compulsion for them to steal land, it might've provided some sort of ancillary support after the fact, but that's not why they conquered and colonized areas or why they slaughtered natives (note: more indigenous person were generally killed by disease than genocide in these cases, take the colonization of America for instance). It's also not why the Israelis treat middle easterners like garbage either. They're racist twats engaged in obscene violations of human rights that are prohibited by international law and they've gone unpunished for far too long. Those human rights violations have created a humanitarian crisis, bud. Using religion as a scapegoat for shitty people being shitty doesn't help the case against Israel much.
If we're going as far back as the Crusades, well, they started out as a defensive move, after being harassed for quite some time, to protect "Christendom", which simply means areas where Christianity is the prevailing religion, like Murricah. I'd be willing to concede that religion was a much larger part of the issue back then, but it's still not as simple as that.
Today the case is much different and we've allowed generations of people to suffer at the hands of the Israelis.

What I really don't get is, why does the "religious right" view Israel favorably when the Jews crucified their savior?

For
the bible tells them so ("...support for Israel is God’s foreign policy").
And then there's the Christian Zionists which believe that Israel must be a nation for the rapture to take place... although some Christians think Israel will have to become a Christian nation first.
TL;DR The gist of it is that god really really likes the (((jews))). So he'll bless us for being nice to them, but he'll curse us for being mean to them.

So short on tyme and getting ready to go skiing for about 10 days
I as well have not dived in2 Y the conservative right supports Israel - a quick guess has to do with Jesus feeling somewhat comfy in Israel
There is one key reason DOD and both houses of US Congress supports Israel - Just look at a map of the mid east
HARD to locate Israel and even more hard to locate a friendly place for US to land and have a safe haven for well 4 stuff - Also Israeli intelligence MOSSAD is somewhat famous for often more better then anyone else
