I got a bad cold on christmas eve..

I thought it was going away...like a normal cold but today I could barely walk the few blocks from my spot...to the food kitchen...I had to stop several times and gather my strength..
I ate but it did not seem to help much...I am blowing out a lot of yellow phlemn..

I have zeroi energy and it is cold and well...things are not looking good..

I hope the special NY's resolution with still be forthcoming...but I just don't know..

I feel very hopeless and weak..and that is sad...cause I am not used to feeling hopeless and weak...maybe there will be a miracle...but I see no signs of it anywhere..

anyway I just thought I'd check in..

It's sucky, sure.

However he could go to a community clinic. Some of these places have limited hours (looks like the case in Knox co, but there appears to be more than one community clinic in the city too). That might be his best bet since he's unemployed. So the barrier to care probably isn't really a financial one. The problem here is these places take more time to get seen because they're overloaded, understaffed (most of these rely heavily on volunteers), and underfunded.

He could still go to an ER, get seen, talk to a social worker, and worst case scenario is he'll get hit with a bill he'll never pay. His credit is probably fucked anyway, so nbd.

Point being there's no reason not to seek medical attention if he actually has something going on esp. w/ community clinics around.

the affliction is beginning to subside although the circumstances in which I am existing in greatly exacerbate my malaise..
