Schedule I Drugs mean that:

The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.
The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.
There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.

But in reality, it's taken for anxiety, pain, and seizures. And also isn't addictive or makes anyone high.

Does not compute.

This might me more obscene than the kratom ban. The DEA continues to prove they've outlived their usefulness. Seems about the same level of scumminess as when certain intelligence agencies "thwart" terrorist plots by manipulating the mentally ill into fake terrorism plots.
