For one I am surrounded by a massive number of people working in the Genetics field. In my infamous 15 mile drive zone its Cell Phone technology and Genetics. Drop below that 15 zone n its massive Military n mostly US Navy-Marine technology. Guys n gals I Surf with are mostly from Genetics this or that. Or from UCSD which is down the street south wise.

Not one gender bender in the mix - Not a single one. I get why those born with genes that do not fit the standard pattern end up with biological issues and of course those who are born with genetic defects or even (have yet to meet one yet) Those born with both gender parts - Hell the first gal with a larger then what I was used to Clitoris - I kinda said to self WTF? but of course got past that -

It's not entirely genetics, exposure to hormones in the prenatal enviroment may play a significant role on if someone has dysphoria in their biological sex.
