> Christian ones
No such thing -
ALL Christian holidays with no exception have been CO-OPTED from pagan holidays
In the course of the Christianisation of Europe in the Early Middle Ages, the Christian churches adopted many elements of national cult and folk religion,[1] resulting in national churches like Latin, Germanic, Russian, Armenian, Greek, and so on. Some Pagan ceremonies were brought in and the festivals became modern holidays as pagans joined the early church.[1] The Pagan vernal equinox celebration was 'Christianized'[1] and then referred to as the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary or Annunciation of the Lord and celebrated as the Feast of the Annunciation. The Germanic Pagan solstice celebrations (Midsummer festivals) are also sometimes referred to by Neopagans and others as Litha, stemming from Bede's De temporum ratione and the fire festival or Litha was a tradition for many pagans. This pagan holiday was basically brought in and given a name change, and in Christianity was then associated with the nativity of John the Baptist, which now is observed on the same day, June 24, in the Catholic, Orthodox and some Protestant churches. It is six months before Christmas because Luke 1:26 and Luke 1.36 imply that John the Baptist was born six months earlier than Jesus, although the Bible does not say at which time of the year this happened.

I in fact do celebrate Christian Holidays. My house will have multiple Christmas trees. Working IF I have a few spare seconds to do something special with LED's - Design in my head is all done but putting it together may end up with a time crunch - Have all the parts on a counter and was going to have it for my Thanksgiving party but just NO FUCKING TIME TO SPARE
At least I have not given up my Surfing and its been damn damn good- I have cut back on miles run on beach but DO Finish the miles on a Treadmill BUT I may have to cut back on miles cause with all the added work and need for Gym time my weight has dropped slowly at first and now much to fast and I do NOT want to have to EAT EAT EAT to keep the weight UP
However I do plan on a few more desert items and will try and keep it healthy well as much as possible

I worked on thanksgiving, so I celebrated it earlier today.
My family doesn't celebrate Christmas holidays, so I usually ignore Christmas.

I hosted a huge Thanksgiving party - 4 25 pound Butter Ball Turkeys and currently cooking down carcasses for the base of a Gumbo in a week or three - Need really fresh Okra and that around here is a one hour journey in Chinatown of this area. So will freeze the Turkey broth/stew base.
King Crab legs for appetizers and people brought lots of side dishes but of course I made the basic ones myself -

Calling the hot line made my outcome super great. Just as I was hanging up with the gal I said damn it wood be great if it was possible to put the Turkey right on the bottom of the pan re clean up of the four racks for for 25 pound turkeys was something I was not looking forward to
Gal said WAIT I have the solution - Lay a bed of carrots and onions - slice some red potatoes and lay bird on the veggie bed- Damn more veggies very flavorful and the drippings for Gravy was far far far the best EVER.
And agree the brine method Butter Ball uses makes for a super juicy bird.
I cooked down the carcasses of the four - gave away 1/2 of the results and am eating Turkey stew and Dumplings and damn damn terrific- Next batch of leftovers get frozen for later use as a GUMBO - Its a hour drive to get decent Okra so I will just wait till I am in that part of town and pick up the Okra and I will be super happy with leftovers that rock.
