There is a huge controversy within the Asian-American community.

1287213523018.pngAs if switching to CG wasn't bad enough, now they're remaking the old cartoons as live action?

The Jungle Book had both, and was a decent adaptation. They are getting ridiculous with the adaptations, tho. Just too many autism bucks to be made. Remakes and remasters are popping up everywhere.

Meh, why not fuck up more peoples childhood nostalgia. It's not like they can create anything original.

Tbh I was actually excited about the live action Akira that never was. Although they were already fucking up with their casting choices and trying to make it take place in the US.

Unrelated: Oh and the Neuromancer movie that never was. Although Ready Player One is going to be made and that book was fun anyway. So maybe that'll be decent. Idk any other animations being remade that I could give a fuck about.
