There are a lot of people who do that. RCT is no more meant to simulate mass-euthanasia than The Sims is. Probably even less so, because the game is programmed to try and prevent you from killing patrons.

TBH that that particular simulator does provide [incomplete] training for new agents in a very niche area of R&D for FEL.

The Sociopath's Instruction Manual is an acceptable tool for making people comfortable with FEL's goals or just getting them to the right mindset. Players of the game, Sociopaths in training, or "SINners" as they like to call themselves, do help to shield themselves from certain psychological issues associated with mass euthanasia. FEL in it's charitable nature as you say is sensitive to such issues and strives to euthanize everyone as painlessly as possible. Of course it doesn't always happen that way due to variables outside of our control (e.g. overly enthusiastic FEL supporters).
