That would explain why there was actually two bullets fired instead of one.
Dogs typically have terrible aim due to their eyesight and paws. So they generally would need to work in cells of 4 ( split into two teams, with each team being composed of 1 spotter schnauzer and 1 sniper schnauzer) to assure the demise of a high priority target like JFK.
