So can oil pulling with coconut oil help with gingivitis?
I have a toothpaste that Ive made consisting of coconut oil, baking soda, and a dash of peppermint oil. That seems to do the trick for my teeth coloring so far but if you have any suggestions, im listening

Yeeeeeeeeeeahh there's not enough scientific data for me to be able to say that oil pulling is truly beneficial. I'm such a science person that I need the FAX before I can tell you it's true or not. I wouldn't by any means replace any regular dental hygiene routines with it.
Baking soda does the trick with whitening. The only other options are your over the counter whitening strips, or the profesh office treatments. Oh hydrogen peroxide is also great for whitening if you rinse with it. That plus the baking soda might make your teeth more sensitive to cold, though. (Usually temporarily)
If you have a lot of staining like the actual build up kind, you can get a scaler (dental instrument) and mirror set at a drug store and scrape that shit off. Feels gooooooood. I do this all the time. Don't wait for your cleanings unless you have the worlds most shaky hands and you'll end up doing more harm than good.
