I did a clean install of Win 7, because I was tired of Win 10's buttshits. Now my pc won't install my network controller, an Intel Centrion Wireless-3160. It can tell the card is there, but I can not figure out how to get it functioning again. I drove myself crazy looking for a solution yesterday, I feel like using Linux exclusively would be less stressful, at this point. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

you may need to get the driver directly from the manufacturers website. hopefully you have access to a machine that can do that?

If you do not have access to another computer to down load the driver - Hit a local library and take along a USB flashstick and put the driver on there and awayyyyyyy u go

And how about spelling out why Win10 did not work out for you. I have it on 2 of 5 machines here and am still waiting for the Enterprise version from 2 clients so I can install it on everything - So far so good after about 3 months of use. I had 10 on another computer for a few months prior and had no problems with it at all - Had to turn that computer back to company that asked me to give 10 a go for play only - They are still using Win7 and will until its no longer supported cause its costly for IT depts to change all machines under corporate umbrella

Yeah, the Ethernet port works, so does the bluetooth card, which is also integrated in the wireless card., it's just the Wi-Fi adapter.
