Well... one of the test groups for the transcendentalist cat project did involve doping and arming felines... infelicitously we had to shut it down due to pressure from the feds after a few agents and interns were maimed/murdered. Some of the results were promising however and FEL is currently looking into forms of population control utilizing immensely colossal genetically modified felines at our lab in Omsk.
We additionally ran another project that was a bust. Arming crabs with gyrojet weaponry was deemed ineffective and the transcendentalist crab project was abrogated virtually immediately. Fuck decapod crustaceans, they're nugatory.

The Poles have already field tested bear soldiers. Not a terrible choice.
And as for monkeys with AK47s... well they're nugget killers, so they're not all that bad either.
