Let them. People are generally self serving, it's not a new revelation. Let compassion die with the old. The elderly and infirm are fit for fertilizer or kibble.
Let the young blame the old for not embracing antinatalism and other more humane/ecofriendly routes towards NeoEden. And of course blame the old for necessitating such drastic measures of population control as FE.
