like theres two redeeming qualities in the entire game, city escape and pumpkin hill

its not like SA DX where the first fuckin box of dialogue is "dont worry if the camera fuckin sucks, it happens sometimes" and you can stop dead in the center of a loop and the moment you press any direction you shoot off into space

but its also not like, gamecube-era good either

sa2 is just bad. you cant honestly tell me that the knuckles/rouge stages that arent pumpkin hill are good or that the aimbot stages are engaging at all.

seriously they put a fucking kart racer in a sonic game and they fucked it up. a sonic game fucked up kart racing.

shadow the hedgehog at least took it into so bad its good territory with shadow cocking an smg like a shotgun, but it also had some genuinely good elements like the variety of guns. theres some shit but the ratio of good to shit is much more favorable than sonic adventure 2

and the multiplayer is surprisingly not awful.
