Topic: What is the worst date in history?

From your perspective, what is the worst thing to ever happen on a single day?
Personally I believe the worst date was August 6, 1945. The day the US bombed Japan with the "Little Boy" atomic bomb. We changed the course of history with a single act. We changed how humanity fights, how it fears, how it powers its civilization, how it controls the world. Everything in one day. Due to that event in as little as 7 minutes, as long as 30 minutes we could deliver an ICBM to another country, or conversely one could be delivered to us and be annihilated.
Personally I think that is terrifying, to this day, even after the Cold War. Some day, some crazy assholes will get their hands on a nuclear device and all hell will break loose and it will change the world again.
