Topic: I sell insurance like a jerk

But I sold it to three people today
It is a soul sucking job that really barely pays more than minimum wage

You're still an awesome person, we all have to do things we don't agree with at times. My dad once worked for an auto dealership, and he hated that job. They told him to lie, and he did not feel comfortable with that.

it's surprising how fast you develop this smooth but robotic tone of voice re-reading the script
i got a dead guy today!
@491,744 (B)
lol i'm actually less likely to get that job

How many jobs have you had before this one?

@491,752 (chili dog !!heHjtrQ7i)
What do you mean? You had to review the case of someone who died?

I had that summer camp job that went terribly wrong last summer. Besides that i've just done volunteer work.
good thing is they actually seem pretty chill
this is my first day off training and i forgot i'm now working 2 hours earlier and endded up an hour late... they didn't seem to care. the people i work with are friendly enough and apparently my sales ratio is ok
@previous (Maddy is !grate/DTHM)
"Hello, may I please speak to Mr. first name last name?"
"No"
"Oh it's okay, I'll call back another time, it's just a courtesy call from Company, nothing urgent"
"He's been dead for two years"
"... oh"

Oh. That must have been terribly awkward. We used to get calls like that for my dad, after he passed. Until we got rid of our landline. When I got to NM, I found out there was still a Medicaid plan registered under his name. My mom didn't even know he had a Medicaid plan in NM. He must have had it a very long time ago.

oh wow
i don't get any calls for me, changed my phone number in november. now i just get debt collection calls for a "miss claire felix-mancier?". that must've been rough, esp just after he passed (my condolences)
i do feel really bad for everyone that i'm interrupting,i'm sure they're doing more important things or even just chilling out befre getting disturbed
·chili dog !!heHjtrQ7i — 10.1 years ago, 5 minutes later, 1 hour after the original post[T] [B] #491,758

If only you had access to their medical records, you could avoid such situations.
It must have been hardest on my grandmother. We hardly ever answered the landline (hence the getting rid of it). My grandmother on the other hand, used to call it, just so the answering machine would answer, so he could hear his voice. Only my older sister knew that, until when she passed in January. I felt really bad for her, after I learned that.

my friend died when I was in highschool and his family left his phone alone/didn't cancel it and sometimes I would call to hear his voice

Really? Comcast is the same way! BTW, if any of you assholes get a mailer in the next few days, don't fucking call.

I can't imagind the pain, I never knew I could hear my Dad's voice, that way. Even though I knew he had recorded the outgoing message, I feel so much pain for you.

I wish I had thought of that, I really missed my dad in the beginning. It's what drove me to ecstasy abuse. Maybe, if I had thought of that, I could have avoided 4 years of bullshit.
C'est la vive. What's done is done.

i work for my university
