Agreed. Despite years of warning the masses of the inevitable grate plague... millions possibly even billions of people are still unprepared for an FND or zombie outbreak.
On the brighter side this could simplify the work of FEL if mass "euthanasia" occured naturally.

Yes, but as a human subclass, zombies are still covered as exterminible under the euthanasia directive, however as they lack cognitive functions, they cannot be relied on to self-terminate once conscious humans have been extinguished.

It's an interesting point you bring up, Doktor, but won't these zombies simply starve to re-death after their primary foodsource has been eliminated?
I wonder if we should take further precautions to prevent any bits of humanity from trying to rise back up after FEL pushes the big red button.
