Bert would still want to help himself, but instead he'll shirk responsibility for any of his wrong doings, and expect people trying to help him, like Syntax or On, to just forgive and forget or look the other way. If he wants to stick around he might offer a halfhearted apology, but the Bert cycle will continue, and he'll fly into a rage 5 minutes later and go into a spastic fit over a keyboard somewhere in TN.

We all know that even if he had On's dox, he doesn't have the wherewithal to purchase or do anything with them. It's just more keyboard warrior bullshit.

I will share a tail re how I miss a R/L good buddy who got me to buy a chunk of Island long ago - Guy had 12 ex wives and one current wife when Alcohol took his life and a real good Musician buddy - both had livers popping out of chest so visible - Alcohol can be such a bytchhh

Its hard for me to let a friend of long standing go - very rare. However there is still a .1% chance of redemption. Alas it wood also take AA lots of help from AA

Long ago James Taylor who lost one hell of a good wife - He was on Heroin and smoked
He finally kicked Heroin but said stopping Cigs was much harder

Bert kicked some really hard drugs including Heroin - One way or the other his life ends up trapped in some kind of addiction hell

Going to miss him - Damn new ban on wood fires at State beaches - Well I suppose I will have to find a substitute for wood
Damn my house just was shown on TV news in story about banned wood fires

You have to look hard to see it in this pic. Neighbor has Mansions and Koi ponds. Even a mansion that fell down the bluff to side of bluff - that was b4 I moved in here wayyy before. My back yard is going down to beach one day. South and North of me lots of back yards and pools have falling down the bluff.

Some people always have to have a vice, for one reason or another. Usually to escape from their problems. Chemicals can't solve your problems, though. So they just keep taking the quick temporary solution, instead of making a long term change.

It's sad, but there isn't much you can do outside of offering help.
