I like how they completely ignore that most of these are aired at certain times based on what is age-appropriate, on cable channels which are not intended for children, many of them with viewer discretion warnings, and the 'politically incorrect' ones are deemed so by imposing modern standards on shows that were made for a vastly different cultural demographic.

I can see why they would find it inappropriate, but why they would bother putting it on the list doesn't make any sense. Who's letting their kids stay up til 12:30 watching adult swim?

Adventure Time and Regular Show air at the very end of the daytime block because they're made for a teen/young adult audience. Superjail and Family Guy are both part of the Adult Swim nighttime block, although FG airs at like 8:30PM, so it's possible for some kids to maybe get away with watching it, plus it's also on FOX public television along with the rest of the shows from the first 2.5 hours of Adult Swim which are considered appropriate for teens to adults.

some are obviously inappropriate and some are obviously not inappropriate

Basically half of it is stuff that's clearly marked as not for children, and the other half is them saying "ooh, scary monsters!" or "they said something that sounds kind of dirty if you're an adult"

Pretty sure cartoons have always used fart jokes and butt cracks for laughs.

I grew up on Ren & Stimpy, as well as Rocko's Modern life. II really have a soft nostalgic spot for those shows. I recently read that a Rocko's Modern Life TV movie reboot is in the works. Can not wait for that.
