I forget what term they used on LPotL for the "less dead" or the "less missing" or w/e. Cases which didn't have as much pressure to pursue because the victims or missing persons were minorities, prostitutes, or w/e. It's sort of like that, but reversed as far as minorities go, but that's just what gets the MSM excited right now because it's a trending issue that draws views/clicks.
Police brutality should be reported on and there should be as much transparency as possible regarding these shootings, even if it's a lawful shooting. The race of the cop or victim is trivial to me, there's a larger issue at hand that much of the BLM seems to have forgotten after they allied themselves with the gang the movement was created to resist, redress, and raise awareness of.
We need more PDs adopting bodycams and allocating resources to such programs and we need to see the end of the 1033 program for starters.

no....no we do not need more bodycams..
that would just give each loser arrested an opportunity to review each tape and look for an excuse to slither out of the charges..
I support zero tolerance in regards to law enforcement misconduct but bodycams are a lousy idea..

Are you anti dashcams too?
Bodycams work both ways, bud. They protect officers who are acting appropriately (e.g. in cases of lawful use of deadly force or in the event of frivolous complaints/lawsuits against individual LEOs, departments, cities, etc). They also help protect the public. It's a win-win.
If you actually had a 'zero tolerance' stance towards LE misconduct, you'd be all for bodycams. There's no reason not to use them apart from helping LEOs to circumvent the law themselves or for LEO to avoid personal accountability.
