Actually I must strong disagree with OnAs most no I have researched wot its like living in Kunming China for Expats. More to the point Why Expats chose Kunming. Setting aside those who married woman with family that live in Kunming and the new family ties hold those Expats to life in Kunming until divorce or something like that.
The primary reason Expats give and this includes saying it on the gokunming.com forum - Its ideal if you are a Drunkard I have yet to understand why other areas of China are less ideal for Drunks.
bert no's English well enough and as all no he can get new jobs rather quickly. Matt Miller has lost a lot of teaching jobs in Kunming - Matt admits being a total Alcoholic - bert the same
40% of Expats that teach English in China do not have any degree. Only requirement is to speak English and look mostly White.
If bert still qualifies for a Passport he could do well in Kunming. The one thing he probably could not get is a free trip over there for a job cause of no Certs n Degree.
Lots of people on vacation write about job offers to teach English - Lots of jobs but not many offer vary many hours so one has to work for 2-4 different employers a week to end up with a single light

In past years before the chans he really could post witty intelligent posts and was often complimented but then got out of his mind drunk and spammed boards with redundant posts. When he started up with the rape threats. Very few mods wood put up with such. He did that to r04r and she demanded a full apology. He refused and left MC for a few weeks and this was while he was on a rant about TC mods being abusive
Couple of days ago he started posting on MC again after as he said he pulled a 20 hour ban on TC. I missed his drunken spam of MC but could see comments that led me to ask in IRC about them and found out he was using MC as he had TC. The next day just before the football game Sat - r04r reminded him he had failed to Apologize - He did wot he thought was best and kept trying but bottom line when she said not good enough he said he felt THEY WERE NOT coming to a agree to agree. Don't no if he is banned because last time they kept waiting for the apology.

Its heavy weight to carry but wots so much worse is - One of the very best people I once new - The guy that got me to end up owning property in Philippians with Jacque Cousteau - died of Alcohol. Super guy that even intoxicated was a very nice guy. 12-13 wives who all still loved him after the divorce.

Work is going to be done in a few minutes - Getting ready to do some hardware changes to a test site for Verizon 4GLTE of the future via Qualcomm technology of course - I expect to celebrate with extra cash 2morrow and then even more on Thursday if all works as I expect it will - Qualcomm has fantastic simulators and its even modeled with lots of imperfections to see if theory works in practice - This stuff uses brand new Antenna technology developed with outside help which is not my area of expertise but will have to be sooner than later
