In total, six people were bitten and one was taken to the hospital

in critical condition due to a severed artery in the neck.

Everyone knows you got to marinate the chillins for 72 hours, before you cook em. Baste with Sweet Baby Ray's, and cook at 475° for 30 minutes per pound.

Word. Although Cthulhu would most likely drive him to further madness until he went off to a Wal-Mart or the mission and started biting people.

@479,120 (Syntax )
Lovecraft is grate.

The worst you'll probably see out there is sharks or jelly fish, but if you do see Cthulhu, please document it and report in before succumbing to insanity.

@479,134 (Syntax )
Well if it's from Australia it'll probably kill you. If there is a God he obviously hates Australians.

Bull sharks and box jellies are the main risks here. Supposedly we get man-of-wars too, but I've never seen one.

I remember going through a huge jellyfish swarm one year in FL. We were on a jetski, but it was still a little freaky riding through them, it was mostly just cannonball and moon jellyfish, normally not a big deal, but who knows what that many stings could do to someone.

@previous (Dr.G Louie Ph.D !uSk4BCgU1.)
Fortunately necrophilia is a felony in TN, so if he gets caught, it's back to prison for him.

Damn just Damn. Growing up in Long Beach Ca Area where I spent a lot of time on the beach or beaches near by. We used to call the large Jelly Fish Man of Wars.
Now looking this up it appears we were in error - Florida and Australia has them and Columbia but apparently never in So Cal

Have had minor stings over the years but memories of stings from Corals when diving in Islands in various seas is far more vivid then Jelly fish

Of course that famous one in Australia that kills on contact sends chills down my spine

irukandji_jellyfish.jpg@previous (Syntax )
I know some yacht captains that do deep sea fishing that said they've seen them here, but fortunately I haven't come into contact with one.

Honestly, by far the most chilling thing in the water here among the box jellyfish to me is the Irukandji jellyfish, mostly because the odds of you even seeing it before your stung is so unlikely, and it can easily be fatal, even with hospitalization.

Once again, it's all Australia's fault, idk why they had to give us some of their jellyfish.
