maybe they could get you a position where you also can deceive people and cause disappointment to them over having been tricked out of their money for a product which was represented to be legit but was just crap..
I however have always preferred to earn my income in an honest and upright manner..

so...if you were on jury duty...and some fucking rad good looking dude was accused of stealing a bunch of shit from houses in his neighborhood...and testimony emerged which led you to think he did it to pay his rent and tuition....you'd be ok with telling the other jurors that the verdict should be not guilty?

technically some telemarketing type stuff is not out and out stealing...when the customer is alert...aware...and in possession of a sound mind...howsomever there are times when they deal with and take advantage of elderly people who aren't able to think clearly and believe the caller is really offering them a 'super great deal' selling them a guarranteed bug killer for $29.99 and then when the package arrives it's two blocks of wood with instructions included to squash the bugs between the two blocks..
