An old camera isn't necessarily a bad camera. I doubt the lenses on my Nikon would get grate pics, but that older Canon has an awesome digital zoom at least.

Did not expect to see anything. Weather report nite b4 said marine layer was coming in.
Headed out for dinner at a restaurant with friends b4 going dancing and it was just a bit after sunset when we spotted it at about 70% of total eclipse. Not very dramatic at that point cause it was still light out after sun set.

Later after dinner on way to dance it was past full eclipse and very dramatic - There were wispy clouds in sky so it added a lot to the blood moon drama. Then after the dance got to see the full moon as normal nor did it look bigger then say last month.

SSDs are smaller than regular desktop hard drives because they don't need as much space, but for laptops they'd probably be the same size unless it's something like a netbook that isn't expected to have a lifetime of more than 3 years or so.

But your primary concern is the data on the drive. Shop around for a tech that will take that drive and do a full dump - a very common tech thing that should not cost you to much. I don't want you to violate any factory warranty so make sure factory approves b4 you do this.
