Problem is, Microsoft will make its bullshit permanent on all new versions.

Linux is a clunky thing that has to compile everything from source code and scatter files everywhere.

Maybe Macintosh is a good alternative. Their hardware is overpriced but supposedly their software runs on regular PCs now.

I dual boot on my work PC and run linuxmint on my faptops. I haven't had too many problems with mint tbh... and the last mac I had was the iMac, before converting back. I'm not sure I'd ever go back to a mac product at this point.

My iMac was the same color as this, but it didn't come with a cat unfortunately.

P.S. If I have to give up Microshit and use Linux exclusively, I'm okay with that, it's just been convenient to dualboot w/ Windoze up to this point.

Where did you read that? What i read said it may be classified as a PUP, because it includes freecandy, which is a type of adware. However, unlike other adware, it does not install on your computer, and you can usually choose to opt out of it.

I get that, I usually won't mess with a new OS until I've had something for a while.
