Topic: Let's talk about spooky shit that actually haopened to us.

+Dr.G Louie Ph.D !uSk4BCgU1.10.9 years ago #43,293

PicsArt_1441647641979.pngThe house I spent most of my adolescents in was pretty creepy. You wouldn't know it by looking, but there was actually quite a bit of paranormal happenings inside, and in my neighborhood in general. A woman was killed outside the nursing home on our block one night when she was out jogging, shortly before we moved in. The nursing home also closed down shortly after. That place was notorious for being haunted around our neighborhood. You could hear talking, and laughing in the hallways. In one room you could smell tobacco, and see a chair rocking, with a man's shadow silhouetted against the wall, with a pipe and coming from his mouth, with wisps of smoke rising from the bowl. In one room, without fail, anytime you tried to go I'm, the door would try to close one you from a standing open position. In my home, the first night there, I was lying on the floor of my bedroom, my bed had not yet been setup. As I lay there looking out the window, I saw three or four figures go by my window, dressed in white robes. No one else in my home saw them that night, and nothing happened, but it frazzled my six-year-old mind. It didn't stop there, my sister began complaining of "the white thing" residing in the bathroom. She was terrified of using it at night. Eventually, the rest of us saw it as well. A pail teenaged boy, dressed all in black, standing in the master bathroom every night, w/o fail. There was also the "grey haired lady", who would follow people through the hallway at night. Even our cat was scared of that hallway, every time he went down it at night, w/o fail, he would full on sprint down it. He was no push over, either. He was a Siamese, made up of twenty-five pounds of muscle, he literally beat the shit out of every pet on the block. There were odd occurances all the time, unexplained noises, doors opening and closing, full body apparitions. The most vivid time I can recall, also the last time anything happened to me. One night, my brother, and I were up late playing SSB Melee on NGC. As it got to be about 2, or 3, we happened to pause the game for some reason. We talked a little bit, until suddenly, our bedroom door creaked open slowly. It stood open for a few moments, then slowly shut it's self. My brother, an I, looked at each other, baffled at what we witnessed. Afterward, we returned to our Gameboy, a little spooked, but okay overall. Since then, any occurrences have been minor, except for things involving my nieces, and nephews. Nothing dangerous. Most notable thing was a black apparition, my older brother and I saw frequently, staring us down from the alley. The nursing home has burned down, the apparition has disappeared, and I moved out of that house. I will never forget that night, the door opened on us to reveal nobody, though. I told you mine, now you tell me yours.

nope, and didn't look my way or anything, I just watched them for a bit, maybe I was afraid if I moved, they were on my leg, or said anything, they'd go away. was cool to meet tho :p

I was pretty young like in OPs story. this stuff is more likely to happen at a young age, when you're more open to that stuff and didn't grow up yet in a society that discourages it. I used to be able to predict near future events in my dreams, they were always useless like a specific, pointless conversation or someone's outfit. maybe I cudve developed it into sth less pointless. but then I found pot.

I was 15 or so when both my childhood cats died :( , and I used to see them around the house still. walking to the next room, or something like that...:c I just realized I haven't seen them in a while and I don't think I will again. it's OK. makes me sad

Was the town white or mestizo? Most of Texas is overrun with mestizos. They're like crickets: they breed like crazy, swarm in and invade and then make lots of noise.

White vs mestizo ghosts are different.

Nice plagiarism post.

@472,676 (J)

Well, White I guess. The spirits there don't make a lot of noise, unless they're really upset about something. One time after my neighbor died, I heard something banging on the window from the inside, but nothing was there. I've seen quite a few dimensional gateways there. I think the reason it's so active, is because, you know those streams of energy that flow underneath the surface of the earth? I always forget what they're called. Anyway, Midland is right on top of an intersection of those streams. My buddy jeXuz believes there's a portal to hell in Midland, and that honestly wouldn't surprise me.

> Well, White I guess. The spirits there don't make a lot of noise, unless they're really upset about something. One

Makes sense. A mestizo ghost probably would be noisy like in real life. You'd hear blaring music from miles away, revving motorcycles, barking pitbull and rottweiler dogs (which are only kept outside), screaming parrots (which are only kept outside), roosters they keep in their backyards crowing all day, etc. A mestizo ghost also likely would gather up garbage and burn it because every mestizo neighbor I've had always burns their garbage around midnight.

> you know those streams of energy that flow underneath the surface of the earth? I always forget what they're called.

There's never been proof of those however.

There are a couple mestizo ghosts there, on Garfield street on the east side of Dennis the menace park, its common to see a ghost car drive by, makng engine noise, followed by the sound of tires squealing, and a crash. Mestizo ghosts are way more common in Silver City.
