I guess every music fan has genres they don't like (rap and country are the 2 main ones for me), but within those genres there are 1 or 2 albums or songs they really like.
This is one such album for me. Ordinarily I can't stand black metal. Ridiculous shrieky vocals, tinny snare drum, overall shit production, and daft lyrics written in olde English about burning churches and drinking virginal blood ("So my cunt may twitch with thy kiss..." is actually a line from this record). Those are the things I associate with black metal.
And to be sure this album is absurd. Dani Filth's vocals range from castrated squealing to a kind rumbling fart/growl noise. The whole thing is so deliriously, gloriously over-the-top, but somehow it works, insofar as it creates a really nice gothic atmosphere throughout. A lot of the music is actually very good, if you can somehow ignore the vocals. One of the tracks is even, improbable as it sounds, based on the chart for Floyd's Comfortably Numb!
A silly but fun album.

That's actually a really good (even beautiful) song, very unrepresentative of their style, and has an amusing 29 million views on Youtube. I pity the teenaged girl who buys the album on the strength of that one song and then finds herself listening to that charming opener 'Gilded Cunt'.

He's not upset, anonfags ruin his threads all the time. I commend him for still going on, despite adversity. I'm going to either contribute, or stfu on his threads from now on. I would recommend all anonfags do the same, you won't stop this guy.
