Sleep paralysis is a biological phenomenon where the brain is snapped back to consciousness while the body remains in a resting state. When you go to sleep, your brain disables your muscles so you won't physically carry out dreamed actions. When you wake up again, your brain restores muscle control. Occasionally however the brain can be awakened without internal consent, meaning it is not prepared to awaken and in this case it does not immediately restore muscle control, resulting in a the perception of being paralyzed.

oh...it was 'severe'...but it was something that became part of my enjoyment of getting high...because it happened everytime I used coke..
as soon as the rush hit me the voices would start...it was something that I looked forward to with anticipation..
I'll speak more about it sometime...but yeah...it was fun...but I don't want to blow my heart up...so I'm not doing that any more..

a lot of people see that's silhouette of a man inna top hat, its either a top hat or a hood but always be a top hat for me, I'd always hear him walk up the stairs, down the hall, open my door, come in and just stand at the foot of my bed. maybe he's shy cls he doesn't say much or do much else. :P

yeah i get that every time but the more I see him the more I try to chill and remind myself he's not Real...
I was reading stories online, there was one who saw a person but I don't think he described him. he said to it , "you're just an REM hallucination" and the guy started walking away....then he turned around and got right up to his face and yelled "I'm not an REM hallucination you're an REM hallucination"

I was trying to scream for help because someone had broken into the house, and I though wait a minute, we don't have marble pillars in our house and then instantly the fear went away and I fell back asleep.
