Don't you check for shit like that before purchasing?
Or is it online deals, a finger click and a house is bought?

It happens all the time. Worst was the very first time I bought a new car, had buyers remorse the very next day. So what's up ON. You thinking of buying Tinychan???

Don't make me relive it!!! Actually it was a Ford F150 truck, which I really did need for work related reasons. But I bought the nicest one with all the bells and whistles, that I really didnt need, and added couple of thousand to the price. Anyways it was over 6 years ago, but It's really helped me now whenever I'm about to make a large purchase. I always ask myself whether or not I actually need it or if I'll get bored with it in a few weeks.

I only buy in my hood. One exception is a house in Massachusetts. House for daughter while she goes to med school. The bank selected that for me and had it inspected and it was the most costly one to fix after pipes burst. Bank to a degree eventually made good on costs of repairs but what a headache for about one year.
Locally for the most part I knew what I was getting in2 - Then the learning curve on finding tenants for long term leases. At least I have done real good on that one.

Sure, I think that's normal for any major purchases.

Wow that unserious fraud bank, selected a house with bad pipes for you. Of coz they have to cover your repair cost.

Glad to know it's normal, not my autism :P
