Recent "Satanic"/"Witchcraft" triple homicide in Florida.
This is fairly close to home, but tbh murders in Pensacola don't surprise me anymore. It has made it's way into the top 10 of Florida's most violent cities in recent years. Although the Satanic panic stuff is always interesting.

They havent released why exactly that they think this is a ritual killing. I'm really looing forward to finding out.

Me too. It's all so vague "blue moon", "satanic", "witchcraft", "ritualistic", "wiccan", "full moon", etc. These are pretty much the same buzzwords we saw in the media during the original satanic panic.
I think it's just more good ol' fashioned hysteria from god fearing bumpkins more than anything else. Although the throats slit, claw hammer, and gun shot bits, are more than enough to alarm anyone. Any triple homicide is alarming as far as that goes. Still, I'll be highly skeptical until they release something that actually supports the idea of a "satanic/witchcraft/ritualistic" slaying. Although they did mention that one of the people killed worked for the DHS and that the family was reclusive and that there was a safe filled with a sizable amount of cash untouched, which makes it a little more interesting... I want to believe they were part of a cult and just drew the short straw this year and were sacrificed to the elder gods, but it seems unlikely.
Although I'm going to be pissed if there's another "Satanic witchcraft cult" a county over and no one invited me. I mean, wtf, right? (∘⁼̴⃙̀˘︷˘⁼̴⃙́∘)
C'est la vie. Hail Satan!
