Yes but not a great deal and limited areas. Last trip was to Botswana - The most recent Globalstar ground station instillation. Command control tracking as well as currently offering service in simplex mode only with beta on full service.

South Africa prior to Botswana and its also the best way to get to Botswana - Nigeria - Ethiopia - Kenya - Madagascar - all North Africa states. Never got to Congo which is a shame. All were business related trips on other peoples money.

My dad ended up in a nursing home for a while during a struggle against Diabetes. It is sad, and he brought it on himself by drinking in excess, but pathetic, I'd say that's dependent on circumstance. In most cases like that, it's probably the family who is pathetic, because they refuse to take care of their own family member. Maybe they can't afford to be around all the time, but there are alternatives to nursing homes. I pity anyone who ends up in one, because they can be horrible places. Not just in terms of patients behaving horribly, staff as well. Not to say Kook is like that, I'd have no way of knowing such a thing, but I've seen it myself, I know it does happen, and sometimes, people have no other option but to go into a home. That doesn't make them less of a person, that makes the circumstances shitty.
