Topic: Album review: Between The Buried And Me, Coma Ecliptic

Latest album from the American progressive metal band. Fewer growls than on previous efforts, Tommy Giles' voice has a mellower edge to it, compared to earlier work like Colors or Parallax Part 2. Dare I say, they're following the direction of Opeth in trying to appeal to a broader audience.
A very solid album, well worth checking out. The musicianship is, predictably, of an insanely high standard.
8/10.
