What an idiot.
I remember being younger and a neighbor shot one of my grate grandmother's cats, although not with a BB gun, and what a clusterfuck that was. Her neighbor moved quickly after the incident, but the authorities couldn't do anything, the cat had managed to get over her fence and into his yard. She didn't let any of her cats outdoors after the incident either, even after the neighbor relocated.
We saved a cat not too long ago that was shot with a BB gun. Named her 'Bones' initially due to the sorry state she was in, emaciated, parasite infested, and almost hairless, but she's doing very well now almost a year later, she still has a BB lodged under her skin near her shoulder, but the vet we took her too said it wasn't anything to be concerned about. Her name is no longer fitting, but it stuck. :)
