Great just terrific for you to be running. I wood never be able to do my miles in one hour. Nor am I back to my daily 10 cause I busied my heel on a mountain hike and had to stop running for 14 days and am almost back to daily 10 but just being very careful UNTIL After the next Cajun/Zydeco/Blues/ Fest. Then it will be back to 10.

So how long did it take you to build up to one full hour? Runners high Yet?

took maybe two months and I want to keep it up, but I think I pushed myself too far and got "runners knee" still, felt good tho, will take a break till the weekend and try again!! it's so much fun! 10 miles is like what 16km, damn. I ran half that. not sure if I got a runners high, but after running for an hr i didnt hurt, and I sang along to my music, I was in a good mood.I love running

I own 3 kinds of hiking boots from light weight to heavy duty. But of course on that hike it was just tennis shoes which proves my brain was not engaged on that choice.

Remember Ice the knee but never so cold it hurts. No hot water on it until swelling goes down then you can alternate cold and hot. Also on downside of runners high is it masks pain which can cause more injury's - Something I sure do when I ski downhill. Dumb mistrakes at end of day cause of Endorphins.
