I've been praying all day, trying to understand this. How can it be that a bus full of innocent, pious people, who only wanted to go to church and worship God, have been killed in such a horrific way?

I've been trying to reconcile this with what we know about the Lord's compassion and His promise to protect those who worship Him. So what, in your opinion, is the main reason He allowed those people to die today? What are we doing wrong?
