Many other lists. McD's is not always at the very bottom. Fries still rate as best on number of rating sites. In & Out which is not nation wide re rules of corporate freshness - is always # 1 or #2

I need to try the 5 Guys soon to check that out as they often come in at #1 for burgers. In and Out offers the most options on how you get your burger and even Fries. Less Salt and more crisp is how I order them

Not that I eat fries all that often. Buttttt making them at home is NOT practical.
Its a proven fact that fresh oil and even the 3rd batch of fries in fresh new oil is not going to get a crispy outside for fry.

Still far better in country of Origin of Belgium where they still Fry in Beef Fat. Not healthy but very tasty.

If you can try In and Out burger and ask for Fries more crispy - You can define exactly how much. The raw potato is cut seconds b4 frying. You can even ask them to show it to you and watch as its dropped into a basket just for you. Amount of salt in detail - Also its a huge amount.

Double Double burger which means two patties and double cheese with fries was $5.67 - probably cheaper elsewhere re local tax is super high

I forget to ask for double tomato an lettuce. They will make the burger to exactly the way you want it. Even grill onions just for your burger but I have not tried that yet
