Actually it was a gift donation from another player. If you want to donate, I'd suggest waiting a week or so, they tend to have half-off sales on holidays so you can get a better donor rank.
That said, unless they changed something, the tool repair costs 60,000 (in-game) for all ranks above associate, and unless you go for something like underboss or godfather, selling diamond/emerald blocks at the donor mine will eventually be less profitable than selling at higher level mines.

I mention the half-off sales because the rewards are better than what you'd normally get for the same price. Most donors tend to repeat because the low donor ranks become somewhat pointless once your reach the higher level mines that buy at higher prices than the donor mine does. It's set up so that donating is an appealing way to advance faster for new users, and they won't immediately feel disappointed once they get access to a donor mine, but the way the regular mines are set up, the beginning donor mines become obsolete after a few rankups.
Like I said, I was gifted the donation by another player, so I didn't have to give any personal information. 'Disconcerted' is the word you're looking for.
A few protips:
*smelt all ores into ingots, then sell the ingots
*also smelt cobble into smooth stone and sell the smooth stone at warp A
*netherrack however is worth 8x more if you don't smelt it
*break down iron blocks into iron ingots and sell those at warp A, the net gain is higher than if you sold the block at warp F
*warp A and B have pvp zones, so don't carry any enchanted tools you want to keep when selling at these warps
*fortune enchants don't do anything ever since they made drops get automatically added to your inventory
*wheat seeds also don't drop when harvesting, so knowing how to get more is useful
*sell your filler blocks, money is still money, and your pick is taking damage from mining them anyway
*don't forget to visit the time is money machine before you log off: /warp timeismoney
*some people will mention using the /plotme command, but /plot is faster and works the same in all cases
*while having seeds for different types of trees is nice, cultivating them results in lots of wood that can't be sold off at warp A
