I was under the impression that what you define is just 13 miles away from Ferguson currently.

This pretty much says it all. I can't think of any city that bends over backwards more than LA, for each and every single group, ethnic, religious, lgbt, whatever. Yet these assholes have been protesting every day since the verdict. Marching, blocking traffic and attempting to get on the freeways. All with a police escort that's costing the city 100,000's in overtime. Fuck them.

Have not run in2 protesters YET - but they are on the news blocking freeways here. Hey the only alternative they have is to be on chans/net or watch tv

Bosnians in St Louis pulled a similar traffic blocking stunt racently... but they were protesting because a group of young PoC killed a Bosnian man. I get what both groups are trying to do, it just seems like a terrible way to garner support or raise awareness about the issues they're concerned with.
