Initially, I had alot more sympathy. for brown. With the first reports of him being this gentle giant, a week away from entering college. But once the truth about his gang affiliation and that robbery vid came out, that quickly changed. I don't see how anyone with common sense could take his side.
His mom was also recently involved in an assault on family members, for selling brown merchandise, and not sharing the profits.

This subject is a hot topic between me and close friends that grew up just 13 miles away in wot is rated as the #1 most dangerous city to live in USA - East St Louis Ill Yes Mo vs Ill only 13 miles away.

So back to Ferguson MO. [Just 13 miles away! Not very long ago Circa 1990 the population was the same as today with one huge difference - 1990, residents of Ferguson who were identified in the U.S. Census as White comprised 73.8% of the total, while those identified as Black made up 25.1%
2000 census, 44.7% were White and 52.4% were African American. In the 2010 census, 29.3% were White and 67.4% were African American.

So in two decades look at the Demographics shift and then one asks where did the blacks come in from? For the most part East St Louis MO - Of course that may be Black flight to get away from the horrors of 13 miles away.
Me? Been on a lot of juries over the years. Jury where you discover you were sure you heard what you heard. Then 11 other versions are discussed around the jury table. One develops a great respect for the system once you get to see it from that inside view. Of course later you may discover some evidence is not allowed to be presented . Grand Jury's operate differentially and its up to the DA to present what they present and only smart members of the Grand Jury then ask for more information and can even get a lot more information that was not presented by DA

Trayvon was shot by a civilian under questionable circumstances with very little available evidence in the case. The guy is most likely guilty, but "reasonable doubt" is the keyword in courtrooms. Michael Brown was shot by a law enforcement officer. There's plenty of evidence in Ferguson that shows Michael was being hostile towards the cop, and that there was a struggle. The fact that the cop was white is irrelevant, unless they're trying to imply that black cops would turn a blind eye to black criminals.

I should also add. The 3 girls I know - Two are sisters and the other is the best friend. I also knew the father (he passed away) and I know the mother and she still lives in East St Louis, but spends months at a time in Los Angeles with her daughters. Wot really got the 3 out of East St Louis was not only being SMART
The rare two parents and very strong Christian principles. So one sister who I met during US Gov stuff is now full time writing lyrics with a number of Gold Records to her name. The GF sings the lyrics and makes Gold records. The other sister decides for Warner bros the cost of you or I if we needed a tune or cartoon they own - how much we going to pay to use cartoon in a movie or a tune in movie or as a sample.
They talked me in2 going on the road with them years ago to make some music in front of huge crowds - was very cool - later I did it for some real money during my divorce as quick pick up cash.
