It was grate. Also saw eagle rays, black tip sharks, batfish, clownfish and turtles.

Also got sunburnt and have a tan around my snorkel mask.

This is the sandbank we got out on, saw a baby shark about 1foot long swimming in the shallows. Was cute. I'm also a bit land sick after being on the boat for so long.

I just pulled this photo off the web re a pod o 100,000 Dolphins off San Diego coast. I see Dolphins just about every day and often they pass me by withing 2 arm reach or so. BUT I have at best guess only been in pods of 8 12 and as they pass by 5 mins later 10 12 - that is about it - can be 60 split in groups of 8 10 but never a huge number at one time.

Of course I want to get closer and try but they smile at me and make funny noise and almost like a laff they back peddle on me and leave or just swim around me.

Its all a matter of them going after morning meal and the HUGE number of small bait fish here - its a wonder fishermen can catch anything with so much food avail here.

The dolphins here are much smaller. I was told they were geting togther for socialise and play, maybe a bit of raping too. I got some good pictures but can't upload them till I'm home.

Dolphins here are usually on the small side. Recently we are getting to many harbor seals. NOT good for surfers. They are playful and also attract SHARKS so we try to shoo them away.

So far only one sea turtle but I get bumped by lots of fish all the time when in the water.
