It surprisingly is. I thought they would be terribad but blending greens into my shakes has worked out grate. Getting the ratio just right takes some trial and error though.

Not weird so much, it just can overpower the other stuff, rather than compliment it. I use about two cups... well handfuls, but this is guesstimentation. Maybe start with a cup and see how it goes.
I go through like a family sized bag of spinach or kale in a couple days when I'm lifting since I add it to my protein shakes.

ill try one handful. i dont really lift or try to gain muscle so will probably leave out protein powder

I haven't tried it without protein yet, but I don't imagine it would be that bad. Maybe add a little vanilla yogurt for taste. Yogurt gives it a nicer/smoother texture too.
