Ran Whore house in Lafayette Louisiana. Born Dec. 17, 1918 in a brothel in lake Charles Louisiana, she grew up to be the madam of the facility. She married a client Marsden Miller, Sr. Marsden was in the bathtub slow gin business. Marsden's family was in the lumber business. Marsden made his fortune building coffins, using the discounted lumber from his parents business.
