Young Merlin is a video game for the Super Nintendo released in 1994. The game follows a young Merlin as he enlists the help of the Lady of the Lake to help him defeat the evil Shadow King. It was developed by Westwood Studios, and Frank Klepacki composed its score. the ledgend A host of evil creatures has besiged this once pristine land. from his underground palace the shadow king is directing his minions, the meanies to inflitrate, corrupt and destroy all things of beauty. the shadow king is winning; all in the land will soon quiver beneath his vile gaze. swept away by a ragibg river while trying to save a beautifal maiden, young merlin finds himself in this enchanted land. as he explores he discovers the shadow kings hideous plot. armed with an arsenal of magical objects, merlin enlists the aid of the lady of the lake and vanquishes the shadow kings minions. it takes all merlins cunning and skill to penetrate the shadow kings defences and crush him forever.

in my opinion it is a good game i would personally give it a 8.5 its a rpg in the style of many zelda games ie/ hearts for life and items and puzzle solvin basically if ur a fan of zelda this is a must get the soundtrack is original and in my opinion a classic in its own rite this is a little heard of game but it is one of those rare gems quite often looked over thinking its just another rpg this will test your will power as indeed your mental ability and problem solving skills and as a bonus there is comedy in it which is cheesy buut you dnt see much comedy in snes games back in the 90's to sum up its a good game and its worth pickin up on ebay for cheap
